1. Open the GiG app and sign in.

   
   

2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.

   
   

3. Tap User Detail.

   
   

4. Tap your avatar to upload or change your profile photo. You can select a photo from your device's gallery.

   
   

5. Tap the User name field and enter your display name (up to 25 characters).

   
   

6. Tap Save.

   
   

7. Your changes take effect immediately.

Notes:

• Your email address is displayed on your profile but cannot be changed inside GiG. It is linked to the Google or Apple account you used to sign in.

• Hosts must have a display name set before they can toggle online and be visible to attendees.

FAQs

Can I change my email address?

Not within GiG. Your email is tied to the Google or Apple account you used to sign in. If you want to use a different email address, you would need to create a new GiG account using the Google or Apple account linked to that email.

What photo should I use?

Use a clear photo of yourself. This helps hosts and attendees recognise who they're connecting with.

My changes aren't saving.

Make sure the User name field is not empty — it is required. Tap Save after making your changes.
